P-TECH 9-14 School Model is a pioneering education reform initiative created by IBM, to prepare young people with the academic, technical and professional skills required for 21st Century Jobs and ongoing education. P-TECH represents the best of what public-private partnerships can look like, with students taking high school and college coursework simultaneously and engaging in industry-guided workforce development.

*204 COLLEGE CREDITS Earned by our PTECH students in only 2 years*

  • Class of 2022 earned 11 college credits  through CCRI

  • Class of 2021 received 49 total credits from CCRI and 144 total credits from URI.  193 total college credits. 

  • Paid Internships

Moving onto the next grade

  • 96% of the PTECH students, both cohorts, passed ALL their classes the first 2 years and were promoted into the next grade!

  4. Tenth grade "Passion Projects" in Summit when students were able to choose their "passion" and create a project around their interests.
